We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Care Assistant to join our team at Helping Hands. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting adults to maintain their independence and stay in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide companionship and emotional support to our clients
- Assist with personal care, including showering, bathing, and toileting
- Help with mobility and daily living tasks, such as cleaning and cooking
- Oversee medication and provide medical support as needed
- Run errands, such as food shopping and picking up prescriptions
- Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls
- Early Pay App, allowing you to request up to 50% of your pay in advance of payday
- Earn up to £100 for referring a friend
- Direct employment by Helping Hands, providing access to holiday entitlement and our pension scheme
- Apprenticeship opportunities available to existing staff
