Electrical Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank Associates in Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming, fault-finding, and electrical controls.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the engineering team with PLC and systems fault finding
- Rectifying system/PLC faults and identifying root causes
- Preparing site electrical drawings and schematics
- Supporting the engineering team in delivering Continuous Improvement projects and process improvements
- Assessing risks related to control systems
- Creating new PLC programs
- Supporting the maintenance team in maintaining plant and equipment to agreed standards
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £50-55k + 9% matched pension, as well as benefits including 25 days holidays (including 4 days at Christmas) + 8 Bank Holidays, option to purchase 5 more holiday days, discounted gym membership, and up to 9% matched pension.
While COMPEX knowledge and hydraulics/pneumatics experience are desirable, training will be provided for those who need it.
