Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Control System Engineer to join our team in Cumbria. The successful candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming and experience in COMPEX knowledge, although this is not essential.

The role involves supporting our engineering team with PLC & control system fault finding, rectifying system/PLC faults, and identifying root causes. You will also be responsible for site electrical drawings and schematics, supporting the engineering team in delivering Continuous Improvement projects, and assessing risks related to control systems.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £52,500 per annum, plus 9% matched pension and private health insurance. You will also benefit from 25 days holidays (including 4 days to be taken at Christmas) + 8 Bank Holidays, with the option to purchase 5 more holiday days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the engineering team with PLC & control system fault finding.
  • Rectify system/PLC faults and identify root causes.
  • Responsibility for site electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Support the engineering team in delivering Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Assess risks in relation to control systems.
