Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Product Governance team as an Assistant Vice President in Investment Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on key deliverables, including product reviews, and will become a subject matter expert in the field of product governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on product reviews and assessments to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the bank's internal control framework.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the bank and business units to improve overall control effectiveness.
  • Identify and investigate potential weaknesses and issues within internal controls to promote continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement reports to communicate key findings from risk assessments to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Execute reviews to determine the effectiveness of the bank's internal controls framework aligned to established and evolving policies, regulation, and best practice.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in investment banking and product governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders across the bank and business units.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and control frameworks.
