As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people, helping them to develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualised care and support to our young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as therapeutic parenting and developmental trauma.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with our young people and their families.
- Hold a relevant qualification in residential childcare or a related field, or be willing to work towards one.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car, as this role will involve travel.
