Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Polaris Community. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional behavioural difficulties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of young people are met.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people, preferably in a residential care setting.
  • Qualifications in Residential Childcare, Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins and shift work.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
