About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Program Manager to join our team and play a vital role in supporting individuals transitioning out of prison and those serving community sentences. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of volunteers to provide support in various areas of the criminal justice system
  2. Ensure volunteers are properly trained to provide effective support, including regular supervision and feedback
  3. Develop and maintain partnerships with other organizations and agencies to enhance service delivery
  4. Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize impact

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £25,500 - £30,600 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including:

Requirements
  • Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance or Education and Training qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Effective staff management and teamwork skills
  • Experience in training or coaching groups or individuals
  • Creative problem-solving skills to adapt to changing situations
