Job Overview

Listgrove, a renowned recruitment agency with over five decades of market intelligence and unparalleled industry networks, seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the Core Industries business unit, this role will focus on driving growth in key markets, including rail, industrial equipment, healthcare, truck, and renewable technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to excel in sales, with excellent communication and negotiation skills. They should be self-motivated, confident, and comfortable meeting with customers to develop relationships. A high level of education and relevant technical product experience are essential. This is a field-based position requiring extensive travel, ideally based in the Northwest region of the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage extensive business relationships with customers at all levels of the supply chain.
  • Determine and manage the sales potential of customers/accounts and plan appointments to reach desired sales goals.
  • Develop and manage sales call plans for assigned customers' contact requests based on potential sales revenue.
  • Pursue all application opportunities with assigned accounts through personal visits.

Requirements
  • High level of education.
  • Strong desire towards obtaining a career in sales.
  • Self-motivated, confident, good negotiator and communicator.
  • Ability to create a reason to get in front of customers.
  • Perseverance, persuasive.

Salary Information
£45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
