About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Records Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our records management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and secure management of physical and electronic records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement records management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the timely and secure disposal of records in various formats and media.
  • Maintain accurate records of destruction activities, conduct audits and quality checks, and provide reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties, including RMA archivists, records custodians, and vendors, to ensure the effective management of records.
  • Manage records destruction contracts and agreements with vendors and service providers, verifying and documenting records destruction activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in records management, information management, library science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in records management, including records destruction.
  • Strong knowledge of records retention and disposition schedules, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
