Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at One Care (BNSSG) C.I.C. as a General Practice Quality Advisor. This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working 15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist GP surgeries in preparing for Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections by ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for GP staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and education to GP staff on compliance and quality improvement.
  • Identify areas for improvement within practices and develop strategies to address them.
  • Monitor the implementation of improvement plans and take proactive steps to maintain traction and reinvigorate as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and healthcare regulations.
  • Previous experience in a clinical role within a general practice or healthcare setting.
  • Working knowledge of general practice clinical systems (preferably EMIS).
  • Working knowledge of Ardens suite of searches and diagnostic tools.
