About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team at One Care (BNSSG) C.I.C. as a General Practice Quality Advisor.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting GP surgeries to confidently undertake Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspections, ensuring compliance, enhancing practice operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay up-to-date with CQC standards and regulations and act as a point of reference for general practice.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation to assist practice readiness for CQC inspections.
- Advise on corrective actions and improvements, linking in with the rest of the ARQ team to adopt an holistic approach, to address both clinical and non-clinical areas for improvement.
- Liaise with CQC inspectors on how this role can effectively support practices.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for GP staff on various quality standards and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and education to GP staff on compliance and quality improvement.
- Identify areas for improvement within practices, under the ARQ programme, and develop strategies to address them, which could include protocols, policies or identifying training needs.
- Monitor the implementation of improvement plans, taking proactive steps to maintain traction and reinvigorate as needed, and evaluate their overall effectiveness.

- To take responsibility for own professional development and maintain an appropriate level of registration (if needed).
