Food Safety and Quality Manager

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Food Safety and Quality Manager to join our client's team in Shropshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food sciences or a related field, with experience in maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Site Lead for Hygiene and Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, customer requirements, and company policies regarding quality and food safety.
- Manage EHS Issues and Activities
- Responsible for managing the company's Quality Management System, including HACCP, and providing technical support to other departments.
- Establish Processes and Procedures
- Develop and implement processes to improve food safety, health and safety, environmental systems, and hygiene practices.
- HACCP Lead
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
Requirements- Degree-level education in Food Sciences or equivalent.
- Prior experience working in a similar role, with expertise in safety and quality.
- Fundamental experience as a food safety certification auditor.
