About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our team at Gumboots Nursery and Pre-School in East Dulwich.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the overall management of the nursery, including finances, staffing, health and safety, and team management.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities for children, building strong relationships with parents and maintaining best practice amongst the team.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating curriculum, incorporating activities such as baking, Zumba, and gardening.
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure high-quality education and care for children from birth to 5 years old.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 or above childcare qualification, full and relevant for the Early Years sector.
  • Experience as a Nursery Deputy Manager or Room Leader, with a passion for providing high-quality Early Years education and strong leadership skills.
  • Able to protect and safeguard children in your care, with a knowledgeable and imaginative approach to education.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £35,117 for full-time, 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday.
