We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer/Data Analyst to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for leading data analysis for the cost team within the Defence Programmes and Projects (DN PMO) Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK's leading defence organisations based in Frimley.

Estimated Salary: £52,820 per annum

About the Role:

This role involves support to the Expenditure Against Commitments (EAC) and Integrated Yield For Management (IYFM) processes with data analysis and variance analysis reporting. You will work closely with the EAC and IYFM teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to stakeholders.

  • You will have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Programme and Commercial (PM&C) policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in PM&C within a project environment is essential.
  • A good understanding of project specifics and the business environment is required.
  • A Project Management Qualification such as the Project Management Qualification (APM) is expected.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead data analysis for the cost team within DN PMO.
  2. Support EAC and IYFM processes with data analysis and variance analysis reporting.
  3. Work closely with EAC and IYFM teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to stakeholders.
