About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Howett Thorpe. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing a small team and working closely with various departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily use of CRM (HubSpot), Order Management (The Layer) and Billing systems to streamline processes and improve revenue assurance.
  • Managing a small team of 2 to develop and implement efficient systems and processes.
  • Collaborating with Customer Service and Accounts Payable/Receivable teams to ensure seamless communication and aligned processes.
  • Developing KPI's and processes to protect margins and drive business growth.
  • Working with suppliers to recover costs and align AP/billing processes.
  • Developing and improving systems and processes across the portfolio of current and future acquisitions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position with a strong understanding of financial operations and billing systems.
  • Experience in using billing engines and developing KPI's to drive business growth.
  • Managerial experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for customer service and collaboration.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
