Job Description

Health Engagement Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Engagement Specialist to join our team at Equals One Ltd in Eastbourne. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting the importance of user lived experience in service improvement and advocate for user needs within our organisation.

As a Health Engagement Specialist, you will create and manage a stakeholder relationship plan to ensure all key stakeholders are engaged and actively contribute to service provision. You will also be responsible for contributing to service quality assurance procedures, recruiting and leading a service users board, supporting our complaints process, and promoting ongoing service improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the importance of user lived experience in service improvement
  • Create and develop a service user forum/service improvement board
  • Advocate for user experience through internal meetings

Requirements:

  • Lived experience of vulnerable children and adults
  • Strategic and project planning experience
  • Multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good IT skills

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,683 per annum FTE, with additional benefits including up to 33 days holiday, company pension scheme, and life assurance. If you are passionate about improving services and advocating for user needs, please apply by sending your CV.
