TPI Relationship Manager Job Description

At Utility People, we are seeking a skilled TPI Relationship Manager to join our team. As a TPI Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a select group of brokers/Third-Party Intermediaries (TPIs) to grow the business placed with the company through them and achieve business sales targets while increasing the company's share of the TPI Market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall performance for your TPIs covering Acquisitions, Renewals, and New Connections
  • Accountability of Sales retention for your TPIs
  • Plan with TPIs to understand their routes to market to progress value/volume
  • Adhere to agreed service level agreements for the pricing and servicing of TPI contracts
  • Utilise your experience and relationships in this market to grow the business
  • Be the go-to person for all TPI enquiries - objections, servicing queries, commission, etc.
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge into your TPIs, their wants, needs, and how they work
  • Price TPI tenders selectively, where required to win larger business
  • Negotiating contracts taking them through the journey to agreed and signed
  • Performance manage all TPIs with an expectancy of growth

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B energy sales account management
  • Experience from either energy supplier or energy broker
  • Confident - you love talking to people and building relationships
  • Ambitious - you don't just want another job, you want a career
  • Team player - you're happy to help a fellow colleague
  • Motivated - you have a can-do attitude and love to learn
  • Goal orientated - you love hitting and exceeding targets
  • Friendly - you're always polite and speak to people with respect

Location: Homebased (2 days a month in Leicester)

Salary: up to £35k DOE + bonus
