As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, managing a team of dedicated staff members, and ensuring a smooth operation of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Satisfaction: Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable and luxurious experience.
- Team Management: Lead by example, motivate, and support the team in achieving a high level of service.
- Front Office Operations: Assist the Front Office Manager in the administration and management of all Front Office Operations.
- Amenity Coordination: Arrange amenities with accurately addressed welcome cards, maintain them daily, and promptly handle any arrangements for these guests.
- Guest Profiles: Maintain updated guest profiles to have accurate information about their needs and preferences.
- Daily Operations: Familiarise yourself with daily operations, assist with VIP arrivals, and coordinate guest services daily.
- VIP Recognition: Be aware of possible VIPs arriving or visiting the Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring they are met and escorted to their destination.
- Representative: Act as a representative of higher management in their absence.
- Flexibility: Ability to cover night shifts and assist with other duties as needed during holidays, absences, and shift coverages.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury property (pre-opening experience is highly desirable).
- Leadership Skills: Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of service.
- Language Skills: Good command of the English language, spoken. French language skills are much appreciated.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, agility, and clarity of thought, with the ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Flexibility: Willingness to have a flexible working pattern to fit in with the needs of the business.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
