Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality, Health and Safety Professional to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within a Quality, Health and Safety role in the Construction industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our QHSE strategy across the business. You will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure continual improvement of our initiatives, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with the Operations Director to develop and implement QHSE initiatives, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing administrative support to manage, monitor, and maintain ISO standards.
  • Monitoring and investigating all accidents/incidents and near misses.
  • Monitoring and maintaining sub-contractor documentation to ensure it is valid and up-to-date.
  • Monitoring employees' submission and completion of H&S records.
  • Management of the Work Wallet H&S platform.
  • Attendance of monthly H&S meetings; chairing these meetings in the absence of the Operations Manager if necessary.
  • Updating and maintaining legal register database.
  • Carrying out site H&S audit/inspections with the support of the Operations Director.
  • Development and delivery of training/toolbox talks to site crew and employees.
  • Completion of pre-qualification questionnaires.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with pro-rata application to part-time hours. You will also be entitled to our generous company-contributory pension scheme after three months' service and 28 days' annual leave (increasing to 33 days after five years). Sick pay and DBS check are also included.
