About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Engagement Terms Team (ETT) as a 3-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) opportunity. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the ETT Legal Team and assist with engagement terms queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Lead in reviewing client terms of engagement and amendments to A&O Shearman standard terms of engagement.
  • Provide administrative support to the ETT Legal Team, including calendar management, inbox management, and meeting organization.
  • Manage the workload tracker for the team and maintain a record of reviews.
  • Assist the Team Lead with research and detail-oriented projects, including managing communications across A&O offices and maintaining progress trackers.
  • Perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a legal administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills are essential.
  • Proven IT skills and basic Excel and Word proficiency are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
