Role Purpose

The Business Acceptance Unit is responsible for reviewing and advising Partners on client terms of engagement, including Outside Counsel Guidelines. This is a 3-month FTC opportunity within the Engagement Terms Team (ETT), where you will provide administrative support to the ETT Legal Team and assist with engagement terms queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Team Lead in reviewing client Outside Counsel Guidelines and A&O standard terms of engagement.
  • Provide administrative support to the ETT Legal Team, including calendar management and inbox maintenance.
  • Manage the workload tracker for the team and attend weekly meetings with the Team Lead.
  • Organize meetings, book office spaces, and update the annual leave calendar for the Team Lead.
  • Assist the Team Lead with research and detail-oriented projects, managing communications across A&O offices, and maintaining progress trackers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and IT skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
