Role Purpose

The Business Acceptance Unit is responsible for reviewing and advising Partners on client terms of engagement, including Outside Counsel Guidelines. This is a 3-month FTC Paralegal opportunity within the Engagement Terms Team, requiring a proactive member to provide administrative support and assist with engagement terms queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Team Lead and In-House Lawyers in reviewing client Outside Counsel Guidelines and A&O standard terms of engagement.
  • Manage the workload tracker and maintain a record of team reviews.
  • Organize meetings, calendar maintenance, and inbox management.
  • Assist with research and detail-oriented projects, managing communications across A&O offices.
  • Be flexible in undertaking responsibilities and providing support to the ETT Paralegal team.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and IT skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
