We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our team at HMP Winchester.

This role offers the chance to develop your skills and experience in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership for the primary care team.
  • Be accountable for your practice, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge or referral of patients, independent of medical intervention.
  • Share your experience and knowledge by being involved in the educational and professional development of the nursing team through clinical supervision sessions and formal teaching opportunities.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Up to £64,471 per annum, depending on experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered NMC Nurse - Adult or Mental Health.
  • Independent/supplementary prescriber qualification.
  • MSc in Advanced Practice.
  • Experience working autonomously as an advanced clinical practitioner.
  • Evidence of implementation of local and national policies.
  • Experience demonstrating high levels of clinical expertise in decision making and judgement.
