Lead Food Service Manager

The Catering Unit Manager role is a unique opportunity to oversee the on-site food operation at Hordle Primary School, serving approximately 150 children daily.
About the RoleThis position requires a highly organized and personable individual with experience in managing a team. The successful candidate will run a busy kitchen producing high-quality food from fresh ingredients and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team to produce nutritious meals for students
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Work closely with school staff to meet dietary needs and preferences
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet nutritional standards
- Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and service
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar catering environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- Knowledge of nutrition and meal planning principles
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
As a Catering Unit Manager with Shared Services Partnership, you can expect:
- A competitive salary range of £25,500 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
