Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is a leading healthcare provider renowned for its cutting-edge services and commitment to patient care. Our IT Service Management (ITSM) team plays a vital role in supporting the Trust's mission by ensuring that IT changes are implemented smoothly, with minimal disruption to our services.

The Role

As the Change Manager, you will oversee the entire change management process within the Trust. You will be responsible for managing the Software Advisory Group and overseeing endpoint-related licenses and contracts, ensuring compliance and efficient use. You will also manage the asset database and produce regular reports on change and asset management performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the change management process, ensuring changes are documented and reviewed.
  2. Schedule and manage the implementation of changes, verifying their successful implementation and addressing any issues or backouts.
  3. Monitor changes to ensure they are tracked from initiation to completion.
  4. Lead Software Advisory Group meetings, reviewing and approving software-related changes.
  5. Monitor licenses and contracts, ensuring they are up-to-date, compliant, and cost-effective.
  6. Manage the asset register, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all assets.
  7. Directly supervise ITSM analysts assigned to change and/or asset management, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
  8. Manage change and asset management service levels, participating in the establishment and management of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  9. Act as the primary point of contact for change management, engaging with stakeholders.
  10. Identify opportunities for improving the change management process.
Requirements
  1. A Degree-level education in computing or technical qualifications relating to IT Service Management.
  2. 2 years of experience in an IT Service Management role with a focus on Change Management.
  3. Strong understanding of ITIL processes and experience using IT Service Management tools.
