Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and Greet: Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner, providing a positive first impression and setting the tone for a memorable experience.

  • Clerical Duties: Perform general administrative tasks, including managing lost and found property, handling cash payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls, direct guests to the correct departments, and provide clear and concise information to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Logistics: Manage incoming and outgoing courier deliveries, post duties, and produce venue signage as required.
  • Guest Support: Direct guests to meeting rooms, manage VIP guests, and provide local information to enhance their experience.

  • Reporting: Provide clear and concise verbal reports to management and colleagues.

Person Specification:

  • Personal Qualities: A willingness to work cooperatively with colleagues, service partners, and leadership, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering high standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations and audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a corporate reception or front-of-house role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Education: Educated to GCSE level or above, with a strong foundation in English and mathematics.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time permanent role, working 40 hours per week, with 1 hour paid lunch. The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days out of 7, with a positive and flexible attitude towards working hours.
