Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing a positive customer experience by assisting with sales, returns, and exchanges. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding merchandise displays.
- Assist with restocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining a visually appealing store appearance.
- Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of sales strategies and promotions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and climb stairs as needed.
Compensation
$12 - $14 per hour
