Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to work in our shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing the store, and contributing to the sales and stock rotation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers
- Manage the store, including maintaining a tidy and accessible space, and showcasing our wonderful donations
- Support with sales, stock rotation, and organizing displays
- Represent Age UK in a professional manner and reflect our core values
- Handle and lift bags of stock (up to 10kgs.)
Requirements
- Experience in working in a customer-facing role
- Experience of cash handling
- Ability to lift and carry bags of stock up to 10kg's
- Ability to work as part of an effective team
- Flexibility to work additional days to cover holidays and sickness or participate in trading outside of normal shop hours
