Job Summary

The Sales Associate will play a critical role in assisting customers in finding the products they need, answering questions, and providing a positive shopping experience. This role will also involve receiving, stocking, and pricing merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and orderly store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding products and answering questions about merchandise.
  • Receive, stock, and price merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area.
  • Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor merchandise area.
  • Operate a forklift with proper training.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Participate in store meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Formal retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25lbs), and climb.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Compensation

$12 - $14 per hour
