Stellantis is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our business complies with the rules and requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This is a unique and varied role that will expose the candidate to many areas of the business. The Compliance Director will work closely with the Compliance Director to develop and maintain the compliance monitoring plan and provide regulatory advice to the business. The role will also involve working with the Central Compliance and Ethics team to deliver central compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, legal qualification, or equivalent compliance certification. They will have a proven compliance professional with up-to-date industry compliance/regulatory framework knowledge in consumer credit and insurance distribution activities. The candidate will have experience of providing written and verbal advice to 1st Line business areas on the implications of regulatory requirements. They will also have experience of drafting policies, advisory notes/memos, operating processes, and procedures. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, including influencing, educating, and reporting to Senior Management. The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK and will be required to provide proof of the right to work in the UK. The role is certified under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime and requires the candidate to demonstrate and meet the FCA's good repute requirements. The candidate will be required to adhere to the Individual Conduct Rules and will be expected to lead by example to influence the corporate culture and strive to ensure excellent standards of conduct across the organisation. The role requires the candidate to work under tight deadlines, prioritise under pressure, and respond to changing demands. The candidate will be required to work autonomously and lead on key risk and compliance topics. The role also requires the candidate to have a full driving license due to business travel. The salary for this role is £58,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience, and the company offers a range of benefits including a company car, 26 days annual leave, and Calex Employee Benefits Packages. The role is a hybrid position with the expectation of a minimum of 1 day a week in the office and some regular business travel. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
