Padel Co-ordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Padel Co-ordinator to join our team at Virgin Active. As a Padel Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for the successful running, development, and management of our Padel programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Padel Programme Management: Coordinate a world-class Padel programme, ensuring the courts are optimized for private coaching, inclusive classes, and member bookings.
  • Event Delivery: Deliver key Padel events, workshops, and experiences that exceed member expectations.
  • Community Building: Foster a positive and inclusive Padel community, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Padel offerings into wider club wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of Padel classes and programs, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with the Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy and report any concerns through the correct channels.
  • Coaching: Provide coaching to members and develop a working relationship with the LTA and other professional associations.
  • Team Supervision: Provide supervision to the Padel team, ensuring they are inspired to achieve high standards of member service, safety, and brand standards.
  • Commercial Success: Support the Racquets Manager to run a commercially successful Padel product, leading to positive KPI results.
  • Team Engagement: Facilitate team engagement through team member classes and training.
Requirements:
  • Accreditation: Accreditation from a reputable Padel certification, qualification, and accreditation recognized within the UK.
  • Programme Development: Proven ability to develop and implement successful Padel programmes.
  • Coaching Experience: Previous experience in coordinating self-employed coaches and a Padel programme of similar size and scale.
  • People Skills: Excellent people skills, a passion for training, coaching, and developing coaches.
  • Administration: Excellent administration and organization skills, proficient in using a computer.
  • Flexibility: A flexible attitude to working patterns, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • DBS Clearance: Enhanced DBS clearance before start date.
