About the Role

Opcare, a leading provider of prosthetic and orthotic services, is seeking an experienced Orthotist to join our dynamic team as a Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to drive service development and improvement, while leading a team of professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality orthotic care to patients, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve service efficiency, patient outcomes, and staff development.
  • Collaborate with the gait lab team, spasticity specialist physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, and consultant neurologists to develop and implement surgical planning pathways for upper and lower limbs.
  • Oversee the design and manufacture of orthotic devices, ensuring high-quality products that meet patient needs.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to in-service training sessions, sharing expertise and best practices with the team.
