Job Summary:
Opcare, a leading provider of prosthetic and orthotic services, is seeking an experienced Orthotist to lead our team in Roehampton. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in advancing and improving the delivery of our service, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Orthotic Department in the Douglas Bader Rehabilitation Centre, providing inpatient, outpatient, and community orthotic care for a wide variety of patients.
- Collaborate with the gait lab team, spasticity specialist physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, and consultant neurologists for surgical planning pathways for upper and lower limbs.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery, leveraging newer technology and innovations such as systems and 3D printing.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, sharing knowledge and experience to enhance their professional development.
- Contribute to in-service training sessions and coordinate local, regional, and national training to develop clinical and managerial skills.
