**Job Description:
The Academic Office Administrator will provide administrative support to our team at Salem Area Commerce Chamber. This role involves managing various aspects of our office operations, including purchasing, facilities management, and regulatory compliance.
**Responsibilities:
- Process purchases, manage invoices, and track expenses
- Maintain equipment, order supplies, and negotiate with vendors
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and fire regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections, report defects, and coordinate repairs
- Liaise with finance, editorial, and audio teams, as well as external stakeholders
**Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated salary: £18,000 per annum (based on 25 hours/week)
- 25 days annual leave
