Click Recruitment is seeking a skilled Network Developer to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Network Developer to provide network infrastructure support across a large client campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for wireless estate management, day-to-day support, and delivery of upgrades and project activities.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues on all networking infrastructure.
- Configure and deploy network equipment.
- Adhere to strict policies and processes around security and data protection.
- Collaborate with the customer to ensure project deliverables.
- Create internal technical documents for the local team.
- Complete passive or active wireless surveys.
- Assume risk ownership and escalation.
- Aruba/HPE Network accreditation minimum Professional.
- Proven extensive networking background, minimum 4 years experience.
- Demonstrated ability to recognize and react to situations with a sense of urgency and problem ownership.
- Knowledge of network equipment from Cisco, Nokia, and HPE/Aruba.
- Network Management: HPE IMC and Solarwinds.
- ITIL Service Management Foundation.
- Experience of IT incident management.
We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and on-call allowance claimed through overtime, which works out to be about 23% extra.
The role involves working as part of an onsite team, providing network infrastructure support, and managing wireless estate. The successful candidate will be required to work a 1:3 day shift rota, covering 7am to 7pm, and a 1:3 on-call shift covering 7pm to 7am and weekend hours.
The ideal candidate will be located near Crawley, have a driving license and personal transport, and be willing to travel to site daily to cover customer network repair and project activities.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a DBS check and required security checks for the role within a set time period (max 4-6 months).
