About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for training and developing staff at all levels, creating and costing cocktails, managing the busy bar, and understanding profit and loss accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Development: Train and develop staff at all levels to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
  • Cocktail Creation: Develop and create new cocktails, as well as cost and manage the bar's cocktail menu.
  • Bar Management: Manage the busy bar, ensuring that all areas are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Financial Management: Understand and manage profit and loss accounts, ensuring that the bar is operating within budget.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ensuring that the bar has the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events, including live music and DJ nights.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers have an epic time.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar high-end cocktail bar or club background.
  • Cocktail Knowledge: Strong knowledge of cocktails and mixology.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Financial Management: Strong understanding of financial management, including profit and loss accounts.
  • Inventory Control: Ability to manage inventory levels and control costs.
  • Event Planning: Experience in planning and executing events, including live music and DJ nights.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to customers.
