Position: Assistant General Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, quality and cleanliness
  • Work efficiently with the General Manager as a team
  • Recruit, train and mentor a team of dedicated staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability
  • Create and maintain a warm and welcoming environment for guests, exceeding their expectations at every opportunity
  • Manage inventory, purchasing and cost control measures to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations, prioritizing the well-being of both guests and team members
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and empathy, striving to resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and enhancement

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in restaurant management, with a proven track record of success in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Sound understanding of restaurant operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and inventory management
