At Falcon-Care Preston, we are seeking a caring and compassionate Supportive Care Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide personal care assistance to our clients.
  • This includes helping with daily living tasks, medication support, and social support.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  2. Provide medication support, ensuring that clients take their medications as prescribed.
  3. Prepare meals and assist with food preparation, promoting healthy eating habits.
  4. Offer emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping to alleviate loneliness and isolation.
  5. Perform light domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
  6. Accompany clients on shopping trips and assist with errands, promoting independence and community engagement.

Requirements

  • A valid UK driving license and use of own vehicle (for some roles).
  • Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Flexible and willing to cover nights and alternate weekends.
  • Confident English speaker with excellent communication skills.
