About the Role:

Care Assistant at Dovehaven Care Homes is an exciting opportunity to work in a male-only dementia specialist facility. Our goal is to provide high-quality care and promote independence, dignity, and respect for our residents.

As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with other staff members to maintain high standards of care towards residents, relatives, visitors, and colleagues.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing assistance with daily tasks, personal care, activities, and companionship to residents">
  • Maintaining accurate records for each resident">
  • Working collaboratively with residents and their families to deliver tailored care">
  • Assisting with mealtimes and safe moving">

To be successful in this position, you will need to have:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care">
  • Patient, kind, and understanding qualities">
  • Strong interpersonal skills">
  • Able to work well under pressure and be flexible to meet the needs of the service users">
  • An NVQ level 2 in health & social care">

In return, we offer a competitive salary of £22,000 per annum, plus benefits including 'Earn While You Learn' scheme, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), 4 weekly pay, free parking, reimbursed DBS cost, internal career progression opportunities, free uniform, and pension scheme.
