Job Title: Senior Road Logistics Business Development Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Road Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team at Kuehne+Nagel. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for our road logistics business unit, managing and maintaining target customer lists, and handling RFI and RFQ management using our Tender Management Methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and generate new business opportunities for the road logistics business unit
* Manage and maintain target customer lists and a pipeline for clients spending £100,000+ annually on road movements
* Handle RFI and RFQ management using Kuehne + Nagel's Tender Management Methodology
* Share knowledge and ensure team engagement with product activities
* Collaborate to develop new traffic and product services with other business units
* Report on success, pipeline, and lost opportunities regularly
* Monitor competition and market trends to stay updated

Requirements:

* Experience in logistics and senior sales positions required
* Knowledge of the EU road logistics market
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Strong commercial acumen
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Ability to interpret and analyze complex data
* Effective influencing and negotiating abilities
