Global Procurement Specialist

">We have approximately 27,000 employees in facilities throughout the world. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for supplier category management, focusing on our core elements of quality, cost, lead time, and stocking policy adherence. Your role will be to identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, negotiate pricing terms and contracts with suppliers, and introduce new products, working cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth introduction of new product lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams and engineering departments
- Travel regularly to visit UK suppliers and maintain relations with European and Asian suppliers
- CIPS Level 5 or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team

Our estimated salary for this position is £45,000-£60,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
