Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Evaluation Coordinator to join our team at Zoetis. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, such as the FDA, and supporting the dynamic processes related to new and changes in materials and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC) meetings, driving cross-functional collaboration among team members.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive change control processes, overseeing new and changes in materials and suppliers utilized by the Lincoln site.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Category Leaders for raw materials, packaging, and single-use technology to streamline and manage change processes effectively.
  • Utilize the Trackwise system (ETS) to create and manage change control records efficiently.
  • Ensure tracking and documentation, guaranteeing compliance with project timelines and scope defined by the Material Evaluation Committee (MEC).
  • Initiate and coordinate the request for qualification samples from suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related business/technical field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in supporting a professional procurement department, or direct experience in manufacturing, packaging, or quality operations in a GMP environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, strong facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook), Excel expertise a plus, experience in ERP or Purchase to Pay system, SAP and Ariba knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, shows attention to detail, and excellent Data Entry skills.
  • Knowledge of Zoetis Manufacturing and Packaging Operations a plus, experience with Change Control systems and processes a plus.
