About Camino Search

We are partnering with a Private Equity backed business based in the UK to find an experienced M&A Origination Specialist who will play a key role in our buy and build strategy, targeting acquisitions between £1-5m of EBITDA.

This role is well suited to an origination focused professional responsible for building relationships, developing deal pipelines, and collaborating with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Acquisition Opportunities: Develop and manage a pipeline of potential deals within the UK insurance market.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management: Work closely with the CEO, board, and internal teams to evaluate and progress deals.
  • Establish Acquisition Targets: Create and manage a robust list of acquisition targets.
  • Represent the Company: Foster industry trust and represent the company credibly.
  • Drive Deals: Pursue deals in the £0.5m - £5m EBITDA range.

Requirements:

  • M&A Experience: Proven experience in a BD / Origination focused M&A role.
  • Relationship Building: Track record of engaging with businesses and building relationships for M&A.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional interpersonal and EQ levels with high-level stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and modelling skills.
  • Research Skills: Strong research skillset and track record.

What We Offer: An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work with a leading private equity firm in the UK.
