This is a key role working with clients to assist with the management of their commercial property portfolios. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial investment properties throughout the UK, comprising office, industrial, and retail property types.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of a portfolio of commercial investment properties, including office, industrial, and retail property types.
- Set up new management instructions, including review of documents, abstracting data, and input.
- Maintain estates records and update database, as necessary.
- Conduct property inspections to ensure the portfolio is being managed effectively.
- Prepare service charge budgets and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial management.
- Ensure the collection of rent, service charge, insurance, and direct recoverables using our Property Management Administration Department.
- Notify clients of rent review and lease renewal events to ensure timely action.
- Proactively seek out and attend relevant networking events to nurture and grow the Firm's client contacts and generate growth opportunities.
- Consistently produce high-quality work that meets client expectations and contributes to the Firm's reputation.
Requirements:
- Hold a RICS qualification and have 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Be a highly motivated individual with a commercial approach, capable of working as part of a team and also working independently.
- Be fluent in all Microsoft packages and relevant IT packages related to the role.
- Hold a clean driving license to facilitate travel nationwide to client premises.
Location:
The role will be based within the Bristol office, with travel required nationwide to client premises.
