Job Title: Senior Surveyor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Surveyor to join our Property and Asset Management team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial properties, including multi-let offices, and will work closely with other surveying colleagues, facilities managers, and property administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of multiple commercial properties, including multi-let offices.
  • Work with other surveying colleagues, facilities managers, and property administrators to ensure the smooth operation of properties.
  • Review and enforce tenant lease covenant compliance.
  • Set, manage, and report on annual maintenance and service charge budgets.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure delivery of all relevant services to the properties managed and to the client.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record and experience in commercial property management, knowledge of Landlord & Tenant law including the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing single let and multi-let office buildings.
  • Strong understanding of budget setting, cost control, and service charge recovery/administration.
  • Knowledge of building construction, M&E installations, and contract management.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety legislation and best practice.
  • Good attention to detail, with a strong numerical and written ability.
  • Able to write concise reports with well-argued conclusions and recommendations.
  • Target driven and able to work in a busy team.
  • Be comfortable working in a team environment.
  • RICS qualified (or pending).
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of Property Management software e.g. TRAMPS, YARDI.
