Senior Surveyor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Surveyor to join our Property & Asset Management department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our clients' property estates, delivering exceptional service, and contributing to the Centre of Excellence.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a property manager looking to expand their client and people leadership skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the transition of client/properties in and out of JLL Property Management, preparing data for financial reporting, and ensuring tight financial management of rents, service charges, and insurance premiums.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all areas for the Clients where you hold responsibility.
  2. Oversee the transition of client/properties in and out of JLL Property Management.
  3. Responsible for preparing data for financial reporting.
  4. Ensure tight financial management of rents, service charges, and insurance premiums ensuring all management and ad-hoc fee invoices are raised in accordance with contracts and paid promptly.
  5. Manage performance of third-party suppliers (agents, solicitors, contractors, etc.).
  6. Review and approve service charge budgets in accordance with RICS guidelines.
  7. Review service charge cash flow and budget regularly.
  8. Approve service charge reconciliations in accordance with RICS guidelines.
  9. Develop and contribute to steering groups such as the Office and Industrial Boards within management services.
  10. Identifying and actioning any asset management opportunities.
  11. Building strong working relationships with existing clients.
