Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Greenford High School.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the SENCO to develop targeted interventions and support students in the classroom, focusing on academic progress and behavior management.
  • Collaborate with staff, including Form Tutors and key workers, to ensure a consistent approach to supporting students with special educational needs.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of current developments in secondary education, particularly in supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Experience of child protection and safeguarding issues, with a commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Knowledge of issues related to equal opportunities and classroom practices, ensuring a supportive environment for all students.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, motivate pupils, and track student progress, with a focus on improving academic outcomes.
