Supporting Students with SEN

We are seeking an experienced Student Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team at Greenford High School. As a key member of our Learning Support Department, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time term-time only position, working 35 hours per week over 45 weeks of the year. You will be responsible for providing emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities

  • To work closely with teachers, teaching assistants and other support staff to provide targeted interventions and support to students with SEN.
  • To develop and implement personalized support plans to meet the needs of individual students.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
  • To communicate effectively with parents, carers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.
  • To participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with students with SEN and their families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including free on-site parking, access to a fitness gym and a supportive working environment.
