Horticulture Operations Specialist

Morepeople 01780 is seeking a highly skilled Horticulture Operations Specialist to lead our growing operations team in achieving operational excellence.
We offer an estimated annual salary of £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Manage production processes, including potting, spacing, staking, and grading, to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Growing Equipment Maintenance: Oversight of growing equipment and machinery, including preventative maintenance and equipment replacement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing processes and implementing Lean methodologies.
- Site Operations: Ensure site operations meet audit standards and comply with safety regulations.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across the growing operations team.
- You will work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes.
- You will have a strong understanding of Lean principles and their application in horticulture operations.
- You will be able to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize processes.
