Five Education Recruitment Limited is looking to recruit an experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in Bournemouth. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with identified children and young people, encouraging them to learn and challenge themselves.

Job Description

The role involves supporting 1:1 in class and around the school, helping pupils access the curriculum and tailoring lessons to their level of ability. You will make learning fun, enjoyable and accessible, and be a support to pupils when they are struggling.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting 1:1 in class and around the school
  • Helping pupils access the curriculum and tailoring lessons to their level of ability
  • Making learning fun, enjoyable and accessible
  • Being a support to pupils when they are struggling
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2 years' worth of references, one from working with children or vulnerable adults
  • A relevant DBS/Police check
  • Able to work between 2-5 days a week
